Hole

Before you start the repair, you need to countersink the edges of the hole with a chisel.

Once you have done this, fill the hole with the two-part rex-lith filler. Allow the filler a minimum of 30 minutes to cure, before levelling it off with the metal planer.

Once the filler is level, apply your open grain with the corner of the special applicator.

Apply two light coats of covering lacquer to the repair. (You may need to spray another layer if the base colour of the filler is far off)

To seal the repair and remove any spray witness line, apply a light coat of the chosen special special repair lacquer.
