The products required to complete a complete repair are;

• Colour Matched Hardwax
• Battery Melting Tool or Gas Heating Iron
• Special Applicator
• Special Scraper
• Colour Matched Covering Lacquer

Step by step guide

Firstly, carefully remove any high points of the damage using a chisel or a suitable tool of your choice.

Heat a Colour Matched Hardwax stick with your heating tool. This tool can then be used to work in the melting wax into the damage until it is overfilled. Briefly allow the wax to cool down for a few seconds

Finally, level off the area using a special applicator tool.

Once the area is flat and clear of excess wax, create any open grain lines if necessary, using a metal scraper or a sharp tool.

The area needs to be sprayed using a colour matched covering lacquer. A light dusting coat is all that is required from 8-12 inches away.

To seal the repair and remove any spray witness line, apply a light coat of the chosen special special repair lacquer.
