The products required to complete the repair are;

• Colour Touch Up Pots
• Hardwax
• Battery Melting Tool or Gas Heating Iron
• Special Applicator
• Graining Pens
• Special Repair Lacquer

Step by step guide

Firstly, carefully remove any high points of the damage using a chisel.

The damage now needs to be precoloured to disguise the border edge of the repair. This can be done by using the colour touch up pots.

Hardwax can now be melted into the damaged area using a melting tool. Briefly allow the wax to cool down, before levelling off with a special applicator

Depending on the type of surface, grain detail may need to be added. This can be done by either using the colour touch up pots or graining pens.

Once you are happy with the repair, the worked area will need to be sprayed with a special repair lacquer.
